Karma : Medical Leave



She wanted to take “advanced leave” to attend a retreat. But it was not approved. However, her leg got hurt and she received medical leave. Thus, she could go to the retreat - without taking any annual leave! Her friend commented that it was a case of “bad karma ripening at the right time”...

Then again, if the bad karma was a condition for something beneficial, it was actually good karma. It probably isn't bad karma in the first place. Whether something happens to us is really good or bad depends a lot on how you take it in your stride, to use the experience as a cause for something better...
